The days seem to be flying by and before you know it we will be saying hello to a new year and all it will bring.
The Centre will close at noon on Friday, December 22 as we are having new flooring installed. The Centre will remain closed until Tuesday, January 2 at 8:30 am.
Your membership renewals are due before the end of the year. You must have renewed before you can register for any of the Active Living Programs. Sometimes we wait too long only to find the program filled or cancelled.
Thank you to all who gave so generously to fill the boxes for the Humane Society, the Bread Basket and Links2Care, The boxes were overflowing.
What’s coming up in January? Spanish lessons resume on Friday Jan. 5 and run for 12 weeks until Mar. 23. Classes for Beginners and Int/adv. If you are interested please sign up and pay at the Office.
On Tuesday, Jan. 9 Bonnie Malenfant will conduct a workshop to teach you how to do wood burning. Participants will complete a wood burning project. The fee of $25 per member will cover the costs of materials.
The Hort Heads will be busy again on Tuesday, Jan. 9. The new project will be the making of a Bird Wreath Feeder. You can bring your own decorative Bundt pan or otherwise a disposable round container will be provided. Again this class is limited to 6 participants.
Toonie Movies will be shown on Friday, Jan. 12 and 26. Please note that as of January 1, 2018 non-members will pay $5.00 and members will pay $2.00.

The Hillsview newsletter is available at both locations as well as the Halton Hills Public Libraries, Civic Centre and Gellert Community Centre. The newsletter outlines our drop-in activities, active living programs as well as upcoming special events.
