Bryan Lewis - Biography

Bryan is a long-time resident of the Town of Halton Hills, having moved to the area at the age of five. He was first elected to Council in 2000 and is currently serving his fourth term. Prior to entering public life, Bryan was a referee and Director of Officiating for the National Hockey League.
Bryan has devoted considerable time to committee work as a member of Council. He is a member of the following Town committees:
- Arena Steering Committee (Co-Chair)
- Corporate Affairs Committee
- Economic Development Committee
- Fire Services and Emergency Planning Committee (Chair)
- Site Alteration Committee
He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Conservation Halton and the Honourary Chair of the Stay at Home and Play in Halton Hills campaign.
Bryan is interested in applying the skills he developed in his hockey career to helping his constituents and the town in which he lives. He ran for office to support his community and to help resolve problems and concerns of local residents. He enjoys spending time with his family including his five granddaughters and one grandson including watching their sporting endeavours.
