Learn How to Manage Invasive Phragmites on Your Property

Property owners are invited to a free, informative workshop focused on invasive Phragmites and how to effectively manage it on private land. This practical session will help participants identify invasive Phragmites, understand its environmental impacts, and explore available management and control options.

Attendees will also hear about the work being undertaken by the Town and its partners to address invasive Phragmites in the community and discover resources, funding opportunities, and programs available to support landowners.

A panel of experts, including representatives from the Town, the Credit Valley Conservation Authority (CVC), and licensed invasive species management contractors, will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance.

Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is funded by the Invasive Species Centre through the Invasive Phragmites Control Fund.
