This exhibition brings together many talents from national and regional spheres to trace the important role played by women artists in Canada’s developing art scene during the first half of the 20th century.

Are you interested in learning more about the arts in your community?
The Helson Gallery is pleased to offer outreach presentations to local service clubs and other organizations. Learn about the culturally significant Helson Collection and Canada’s premier painters, the Group of Seven. A speaker will visit your group and provide a 45 minute talk on these local art treasures along with highlights of the many new gifts of art made to the Town of Halton Hills. Special in-gallery presentations about the Helson Collection are also available.

Please note, the Helson Gallery is closed on Sundays during July and August.
