Notice to Property Owners: Destroy Noxious Weeds
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all persons in possession of land, in accordance with The Weed Control Act R.S.O. 1990, c. W.5., that unless weed seeds and noxious weeds growing on their lands within the Town of Halton Hills are destroyed by June 1, 2015 and throughout the season, the Town of Halton Hills may enter upon the said lands and have weeds destroyed, charging the costs against the land in taxes as set out in The Weed Control Act. Destroy Nuisance Weeds - Giant Hogweed
Giant Hogweed has been found in the Town of Halton Hills. This is a giant plant that looks like “Queen Anne’s Lace” but is Very Dangerous to handle. If you find it, please do not touch it with your bare hands and keep children away from it. Remove early in the growth season (April/May) to eliminate spread. Click here for more Information.

Property Standards By-law No. 2008-0137
A draft By-law, amending the Town of Halton Hills Property Standards By-law
No. 2008-0137, a By-law to establish Standards for the maintenance and occupancy of Property will be presented to Town Council on May 25, 2015. It is proposed that the Property Standards By-law be amended to include maintenance requirements for Designated Heritage Properties in the Town of Halton Hills; amendments pertaining to the changes in the Ontario Building Code; and general housekeeping amendments.
The draft By-law can be found on the Town’s website attached to Report No. CS-2015-0020 at http://haltonhills.ca/calendars .

NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE - Wildwood Road between Oak Ridge Drive and Ontario Street
The Town of Halton Hills Infrastructure Services Department is advising of the temporary road closure of Wildwood Road between Oak Ridge Drive and Ontario Street. This closure is required to support the reconstruction of Wildwood Road. The closure will take place from April 27, 2015 until the fall, 2015. Click here for more Information.
