Swimming Admittance Policy
Children under the age of 7 may not be admitted to the swimming pool unless they are accompanied by a guardian 14 years of age or older who is responsible for their direct supervision in the water and within arms reach at all times, maximum 2 children per guardian.
Children 7 to 10, who are non-swimmers, must be accompanied by a guardian, 14 years of age or older, who is responsible for their direct supervision in the water and within arm’s reach at all times maximum 2 children per guardian
Children over the age of 7, may swim alone if they can demonstrate comfort in the water by standing unaided on the pool bottom with their head clear of the surface and by passing the facility swim test.
Facility swim test is a minimum of two widths of the swimming pool. Swimmer may also be required to tread water up to 1 minute.
Water Slide Admittance Policy:
Riders must meet both of the following requirements:
- Be a minimum height of 48 inches
- Be able to pass the facility swim test
Medical Conditions:
Individuals with serious medical conditions are at a greater risk while swimming. They should be accompanied by another individual knowledgeable of their condition.
Acton and Gellert indoor pools are equipped with a chair lift for easy entry into the pool. Gellert pool also has a ramp into the 25m pool.
Hot Tub:
Under 12 must be directly supervised by a guardian.
Sauna:
Under 12 must be directly supervised by a guardian.
Leisure Swim:
Open to everyone. Please see above admittance policy.
Family Swim:
Children must be directly supervised, in the water, by a parent or guardian 18 years of age or older. Individual adults may attend family swim. Admittance Policy applies.
After School Swim:
Available to everyone. Please see admittance policy.
Youth Swim:
For swimmers between the ages of 10 to 16.
Water Sports equipment available for added fun!
55+ Swim:
Available to anyone 55 years of age or older.
Lane Swim/Early Bird Swim:
Pool is divided into lanes for participants to swim lengths..
