The Town of Halton Hills Official Plan was adopted by Town Council in September 2006, approved by Halton Region in March 2008, and consolidated in December 31, 2020. Town of Halton Hills Council, and in some cases Halton Region, must approve all Official Plan Amendments. If an OPA is appealed, it must be approved by the Ontario Municipal Board.
