FREE ADMISSION for Public and Family Skating. Regular skating rules apply. Skate and helmet rentals are available with very limited selection of sizes. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early for availability and fitting. Rental fee applies. Regular fees apply for Shinny and Stick & Puck. Family Day Art Activity

Halton Hills Cultural Centre – 9 Church Street, Georgetown

Join us at the Helson Gallery to create your own whimsical bird art piece, focusing on texture and colour. This project is in support of the upcoming contest to name the official bird of Halton Hills! Drop-in anytime between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. All materials provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Play Streets are part of our Hey Neighbour initiative and coincide with the work the Town is doing to deliver quality, free, and accessible programming. For Family Day, we are moving our Play Streets indoors! Come enjoy indoor play with large lawn games such as Connect Four, Jenga, and more!

Family Storytime

Join us for stories, rhymes, and songs at our drop-in Family Storytime followed by a dance party! This program is designed for children under 6 and their caregivers. No registration is required.

Film Screening: Shrek

Join us for a free screening of the classic that put a twist on beloved fairytales, Shrek! A mean lord exiles fairytale creatures to the swamp of a grumpy ogre, who must go on a quest and rescue a princess for the lord in order to get his land back. Audience: Families. Tabletop Games

Want to escape the house for your next Tabletop Role Playing Game campaign session? Bring your campaign to the library, host your friends, or make a character for future games with our new Dungeons and Dragons resources!

Virtual Reality Drop-in

Test our HHPL's Meta Quest Pro VR headset! Please note this program is for ages 10 and up. Children ages 10-12 must have a parent or guardian sign a permission form to play.

On Family Day, Monday Feb 17 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Join us for a leisurely afternoon in the beautiful Hungry Hollow ravine along sparkling Silver Creek in Norval.
