Ann Lawlor was elected as Mayor of Halton Hills in October, 2022. She was first elected as a Ward 4 representative to Council in 2010 and served three terms. In addition to her Council work, Ann administered historic Devereaux House.
Before taking public office, Ann's career included 10 years as an account executive in the family-owned marketing company; five years as director of a social service agency and three years managing her own consulting business.
Ann's long-time passion for effective government is grounded in a master's degree in public administration from the London School of Economics. She earned her BA at the University of Waterloo.
Over many years, as a leader in many organizations, Ann has inspired and encouraged teams
of people to make a difference in our Town.
