HALTON HILLS, ON – What’s important to you? This is one of the objectives of a telephone survey that the Town is undertaking to understand residents’ perceptions about their quality of life, what they value about living in Halton Hills, the level of satisfaction with municipal services and areas of improvement.
A representative sample of approximately 450 residents will be surveyed by telephone between June 22 and July 9. The Town engaged Deloitte Canada to conduct the research to achieve results with an accuracy level of +/- 4.6% at a 95% confidence level. Residents are highly encouraged to participate in the phone survey if they receive a call. These will take only 15 minutes to complete.
In addition, an online survey will be available from June 29 - July 23. All residents 18 years of age and older, may take the survey available through the Town’s engagement platform letstalkhaltonhills.ca.
Information from the surveys will be used to inform the development of the next Halton Hills Strategic Plan. According to Mayor Lawlor, “The Town last conducted a citizen satisfaction survey in 2015. It’s important that we as Council understand residents’ needs, perceptions and priorities as we develop our strategic plan. Plan priorities will guide capital and operating spending and programs over this four-year term of Council and beyond.”
Results of the survey and information about Town Council’s strategic plan will be shared through staff report(s) anticipated this fall.
