Advisory Committees of Council

Council establishes committees and boards as a way for residents to provide input and make recommendations on matters that affect the entire community. We rely on volunteers to bring their diverse backgrounds and expertise to participate on these boards and committees.

Join a Committee

The Town of Halton Hills is currently seeking volunteers for a Steering Committee for the Georgetown GO Station Area/Mill Street Corridor Secondary Plan Review. Steering Committee applicants:

Must be a resident of, or hold property within, or adjacent to, the Georgetown GO Station Area/Mill Street Corridor Plan Area in Halton Hills;
Representatives from established neighbourhood groups and associations are welcome and encouraged to apply;
Must be over the age of 18 years; and,
May not be employed by the Town of Halton Hills.

Those interested can fill out the Steering Committee Application. Applications must be submitted by January 10, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.
