HALTON HILLS, ON – Halton Hills Town Council approved its new strategic plan for the 2023-2026 term. The plan establishes Council’s priorities and guides the work of staff. Mayor Lawlor congratulated her colleagues, noting, “This plan is a product of citizen input and collaboration and reflects the values and priorities that will drive progress in this term of Council.”
As part of the strategic plan, Council prepared new vision and mission statements and identified four strategic priority areas:

Mission:
To efficiently provide services that foster a higher quality of life for residents, making Halton Hills a desirable place to live, work, and invest

Development of the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan included a consultant-led community consultation program of a statistically valid random telephone survey, focus groups and an online survey on the Town’s engagement platform Let’s Talk Halton Hills. The public was also invited to provide feedback prior to Council’s final approval.
The Town of Halton Hills, with a population of approximately 60,000, consists of two urban centres, Georgetown and Acton, the Halton Hills Premier Gateway employment area, three hamlets – Glen Williams, Stewarttown and Norval and several smaller settlements.
