HALTON HILLS, ON – Monday, March 24 will mark the first meeting for Matt Kindbom who will be officially sworn in as a Councillor for the Town of Halton Hills.
Kindbom who placed third in the 2022 election was chosen by appointment through a unanimous vote to fill the seat left vacant by Joseph Racinsky who won the MPP seat for Wellington-Halton Hills.
“I’m delighted to welcome Matt to our Council,” said Mayor Ann Lawlor. “Matt was supported by the Ward Two electorate in 2022 and has extensive community volunteer experience. He will bring both local and international perspectives to the table.”
Kindbom joins Local and Regional Councillor Somerville and local Councillor Jason Brass in serving Ward Two.
The swearing in ceremony for Kindbom will take place during Monday’s Town Council meeting and will be livestreamed from haltonhills.ca.
