HALTON HILLS, ON – Halton Hills Town Council has released its draft 2023-2026 Strategic Plan and invites comments from the public on the Town’s engagement platform at letstalkhaltonhills.ca.
As preparation for the development of the strategic plan, the Town hired Deloitte LLP to conduct community consultation which included a statistically valid random telephone survey, an online survey and focus groups. Results were presented to Council for their consideration. Deloitte LLP also facilitated Council workshops and are overseeing the development process of the strategic plan. Results from both surveys are available on the Community Survey project page on letstallkhaltonhills.ca. Review the plan and provide comments on letstalkhaltonhills.ca.
Input on the draft plan will be reviewed by the consultant with the final draft 2023-2026 Strategic Plan presented to Town Council for approval at its meeting of December 11.
“This is an important document that sets out Town Council’s priorities and I can tell you we have had several robust discussions and facilitated sessions to get to this point,” said Mayor Ann Lawlor. “The next step of taking the draft strategic plan to the public is an integral part of the process. I invite residents to participate and provide their views on the draft priorities Council has identified for this term. It’s easy for residents to let us know what municipal services and programs are important. Check out letstalkhaltonhills.ca and give Council your views.”
