In September 2020, Glen Williams Estates Inc. submitted applications for a Draft Plan of Subdivision, Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment (File Nos. D12SUB20.001, D09OPA20.002 and D14ZBA20.009) for 102 Confederation Street in Glen Williams (see map below). The applications are to permit 34 lots for single detached dwellings on a new public road.

The purpose of the Draft Plan of Subdivision is to divide the lands into the appropriate blocks and parcels to accommodate 34 lots for single detached dwellings on a new public road. The Official Plan Amendment Application would allow for a residential density of 7 units per hectare instead of the 5 units per hectare currently permitted within the “Hamlet Residential” designation. The Zoning By-law Amendment seeks to change the zoning on a portion of the site from a Development (D) Zone to a site specific residential zone to facilitate the proposed development. |
