Destination Downtown, a study to develop a vision and new planning framework for Downtown Georgetown was completed with Council adoption of Official Plan Amendment 37, a new Secondary Plan in September 2019. The Notice of Adoption OPA 37 was completed on September 18, 2019.
The approved and consolidated Destination Downtown Secondary Plan has been finalized and is available for review here. The technical/supportive studies, which were considered and used in preparation of the Official Plan Amendment and related Secondary Plan are available in the ‘Background Reports & Project Documents' tab below.
Adoption of Official Plan Amendment No. 37 Destination Downtown Secondary Plan
On September 9, 2019 Council for the Town of Halton Hills adopted by By-law 2019-0050, Official Plan Amendment No. 37, regarding the Destination Downtown Secondary Plan. The Notice of Adoption was provided on September 18, 2019. A copy of the presentation given by the Consultant at the August 27, 2019 Planning, Public Works & Transportation meeting is now available.
