The Town is undertaking a review of the 2010 Intensification Opportunities Study to develop and update policies and guidelines for intensification in the urban areas of Acton and Georgetown, outside of the Mature Neighbourhoods.
The Intensification Opportunities Study is now complete. Please view the Results and Recommendation Report for more information.
Through this Study, the Town will be better positioned to plan how to accommodate expected residential growth within built areas beyond 2031 and provide input into the Regional Official Plan Review, which is currently underway.
